kick start & upgrade day
AMCC will be conducting Kick Start & Upgrade Days throughout the year. These are open to children aged 7-16 years old who are interested in becoming endorsed to race or need to upgrade to a bigger motorbike before the race season starts.
Spaces are strictly limited.
NORTHERN INLAND SPRINT SERIES
The Northern Inland Sprint Series of races are held from March through August in the year on our new private track at “Green Valley”, Tingha, approximately a 75 minute drive from Armidale. Each race consists of a series of timed sprints around a closed loop track. A usual race will run around four to five sprints around the track with a delay between each sprint. Riders are set off in their individual classes with a 20 second delay between each rider. Scores are collated on the basis of each timed lap and added together during the event. These are posted up on a score board throughout the day and rider positions are adjusted accordingly.

GRASS TRACK SERIES
The Grass Track Series of races are held from September through November each year on our private track at Tumble Downs outside Walcha, which is approximately an hour and a half drive from Armidale. These races are a rubber band mass start for riders in their individual classes. There are 3 races held each round with each race being a 3 lap event around a closed loop natural terrain track.

NORTHERN INLAND PONY EXPRESS SERIES
The Northern Inland Pony Express Series races are held from March through October each year and each round is conducted by a different club. There are normally 3-5 rounds that make up the series. Each race consists of a 4 hour Pony Express for Ironman, A, B & C grades, 2 hours for Over 35's, Over 45's and Ladies. These events are a mass start for riders in their individual classes with a 2 minute delay between classes. Placings are awarded on most number of laps in the fastest time.
